  • Introduction:
    • Overview of the marketplace
      • Sporahub.com seeks to promote Africa’s rich entrepreneurial culture by providing a safe and secure eCommerce marketplace that connects millions of global consumers to vendors offering high quality products. It supports local businesses as they launch and thrive on a global scale while ensuring consumer satisfaction.  Please carefully read our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy 

        • Agreement to the terms
          • By using sporahub.com, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of all our policies which may change from time to time as our business grows. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not access or use our services
          • Sporahub.com reserves the right to alter, modify or replace the clauses within these terms and conditions with adequate written notice to customers and vendors. 
          • The modified terms and conditions are considered agreed to by customers and vendors if they do not object to them in writing within 2 weeks of receiving notice.
          • Furthermore, terms and conditions provided by vendors are not included in this agreement except sporahub.com expressly agrees to adhere to them in writing.

        • Registration and Account:
        To create a new sporahub.com customer or vendor account, you must register using your preferred login credentials (emails and password) or your social media login credentials on our website or applications. You agree to protect your account login credentials and/or other authentication methods by keeping it confidential and notify us in writing as soon as you become aware of any breach of your account security for effective mitigation.  You also agree that this account is exclusively for your personal use or business use; as such, you are liable for any damages or issue that occur due to any negligence in protecting your login credentials or browsing behaviours. By creating any account using sporahub.com, you accept and confirm that you are 18 years and above.

        Vendor obligations and responsibilities: (vendor help center)
        • Vendors guarantee that there are no ongoing criminal, bankruptcy or tax proceedings or other penalties outstanding in relation to the products they are selling through the platform and would notify sporahub.com in the event that any of these situations arises.
        • Vendors agree to subject their business to the verification process and fulfill necessary requirements of sporahub.com, its third party service providers and all jurisdictional regulatory requirements.

        Product listings and descriptions
        • Vendors are solely responsible for listing all products on sporahub.com. They are welcome to take advantage of all related information from the Vendor Central  or contacting admin for support
        • Vendors are responsible for providing all the necessary information for listed products on sporahub.com including, 
          • Title and Subtitle
          • Picture
          • Description
          • Price, 
          • Quantity etc.
        They must strictly adhere to the product listing information they have provided and  never misrepresent their products in any way. Vendors are obligated to notify sporahub.com of any changes in information of their uploaded product listings.  
        • Vendors  guarantee that information of product listings satisfies all regulatory including customer protection requirements and does not violate any copyrights

        Inventory management:
        • Vendors are responsible for keeping an up-to-date inventory of all listed products. Repeated sold-out stock might be subject to removal from sporahub.com
        • Vendors will process orders and arrange logistics for delivery with all practically reasonable care until receipt of confirmation of sale from sporahub.com. Please note delivery options (logistics providers)  and estimated dates of delivery indicated on their listing is binding, orders should be fulfilled within these timelines.
        • Vendors are subject to the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy in interacting with customers and use of their information as they process customer orders/ transactions.


        Our Role: Sporahub.com provides a platform for B2B and B2C transactions. It is neither the seller nor the buyer. Our services are  limited to referring customers to vendors via sporahub.com and accepting orders and payments on the vendors’ behalf. Our services do not include
        • acting as a fiduciary or trustee of either the buyer or the merchant OR
        • mediate disputes between buyers and merchants OR
        • enforcement or execution of the performance of any sales contract.
        However, Sporahub.com reserves the right to terminate the relationship with vendors that repeatedly receive poor reviews/feedback,  fail to resolve customer disputes and/or complaints, or do not comply with all applicable requirements.

        Customer e-payments, sporahub.com fee structure and commission rates: Vendors agree to pay an annual subscription fee (which may have promotional discounts) and a percentage-based commission (depending on categories) on the gross revenue from their sales made through sporahub.com. Sporahub.com  reserves the right to adjust the percentage commission, providing suitable notice is served in advance to the vendor Vendors may also take advantage of additional paid advertisements on sporahub.com as part of enhanced sales strategy for their business.

        Payment and Fees Processing: All payments are processed through our payment gateway providers. Customer e-payments are typically released to vendors 4-10 business days upon receipt of products on the condition that the customer does not initiate a dispute resolution or return process.

        Returns and refunds: On sporahub.com, vendors fulfill and ship their own inventory. They make provisions to have returns sent directly to them. Return policy of the vendor must be displayed in the Return and Refunds Policy section on the vendor’s profile. Generally, vendors are encouraged  to respond to customer’s return requests within 24hrs. All vendors must:
        • Provide a return address with every purchase/shipment. However, they may or may not refund costs incurred from return shipment (as long as it is an explicitly stated condition to the customer before the purchase of that particular product).
        • Offer a full refund once upon verification of return (through logistics provider)
        Return and Refund Template:  Vendors can accept to use our suggested refund/return policy by checking the box or can develop their own policy. If you as a vendor choose to develop and use your own policy, the following steps are mandatory:

        Liability and Indemnification: Vendors hereby indemnifies sporahub.com from all claims arising in relation to matters outside sporahub.com’s control, including issues regarding the quality of goods and services provided by vendors and any third parties’ claims resulting from any violation of laws and regulations by vendors. There is no guarantee that sporahub.com’s service will be free from any malfunction, but sporahub.com will exhaust all necessary resources and avenues to resolve any such case.

        License: Sporahub.com reserves the right to freely maintain or delete any vendor’s listing, ranking, customer reviews and ratings of vendor’s listing on its website or other associated online platforms.  Vendors grant to sporahub.com a royalty-free, perpetual, unrestricted license to use, scan, transcribe, distribute and publish vendor listings and any provided materials, for the purpose of advertising sporahub.com.

        Terms and termination This agreement becomes valid upon vendor registering an account and/or fulfilling an order referred by sporahub.com, and remains valid indefinitely, until termination by either party. Termination can occur at any time, with a notice period of one month, in writing, by email, post or fax. The revenues generated during this notice period are still subject to the partnership agreement.  In addition, Sporahub.com reserves the right to immediately terminate this agreement when a vendor is:
        • unable to justify repeated poor customer ratings and reviews due to issues like poor product quality or service delivery or negligence.
        • repeatedly providing misleading information or deliberately withholding information required as per product listings.


        Applicable law: By using sporahub.com, you agree that applicable Canadian federal law and Alberta provincial law without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these terms and conditions, and all policies and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and sporahub.com.
