Registration and Account Management

Account Creation
To access the full spectrum of customer services offered by sporahub.com, you must create an account. Registration can be completed using your preferred login credentials (a valid email address and a secure password) or by utilizing your existing social media login credentials, either through our official website or applications.

Account Security and Responsibility
You bear sole responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account login credentials, including your email and password, and any other authentication methods associated with your account. You must notify us in writing immediately upon becoming aware of any actual or suspected breach of your account security. This prompt notification is crucial for effective mitigation of potential risks.
You explicitly agree and acknowledge that the created account is for your exclusive, personal use only. As the account holder, you accept full responsibility and liability for all activities conducted under your account and password. Consequently, you are liable for any damages, losses, or issues that may arise due to any negligence on your part in protecting your login credentials or due to your browsing and transaction behaviors on the platform.

Age Restrictions
By creating any account on sporahub.com, you certify and confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Use by Minors: If you are under the age of 18, you may only use sporahub.com services with the direct involvement, supervision, and approval of a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

Alcohol Purchases: Please note that a stricter age requirement applies to certain products: you must be at least 21 years of age to legally purchase any alcoholic-based items available on sporahub.com.

Payment Methods and Service Access
Access to and use of certain sporahub.com services may require you to be logged into your account and to have a valid, current payment method associated with it. You can manage and update your registered payment methods by visiting your designated payments page.

User Content and Conduct
Sporahub.com permits users to post reviews, comments, photos, videos, and other forms of content (“User Content”). However, all User Content must adhere to the following mandatory standards:

  • Prohibited Content: The content must not be false, misleading, illegal, obscene, pornographic, threatening, defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyrights and publicity rights), or otherwise injurious to third parties or generally objectionable.

Editorial Rights: Sporahub.com reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove or edit any User Content that is found to be in violation of these standards or for any other reason, at our sole discretion.

License Grant for User Content
If you post content or submit material to sporahub.com, you hereby grant sporahub.com an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, and unrestricted license. This license permits us to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content and any provided materials (including the rights to scan and transcribe) globally, specifically for the purpose of advertising, marketing, and promoting sporahub.com.

Warranties and Indemnity: You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that the content does not violate any of these policies; and that you will fully indemnify and hold harmless sporahub.com for all claims, liabilities, damages, and responsibilities resulting from your posted content.

Account Verification and Security

Vendor Account Verification: 
Sporahub.com secures and verifies new vendor accounts through a one-time verification pin (OTP) sent to the vendor’s registered email address. This process is mandatory to activate the vendor’s selling capabilities.

Our Role and Service Scope
Sporahub.com functions exclusively as a technology platform and marketplace for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions. We are neither the seller nor the buyer of the products listed. Our services are strictly limited to:

  • Referring potential customers to various independent vendors via the sporahub.com interface.
  • Facilitating the acceptance and processing of customer orders and payments on the vendors’ behalf.

Exclusions from Our Role: Our services explicitly do not include:

  • Acting as a fiduciary or trustee for either the buyer or the merchant.
  • Mediating or formally adjudicating disputes between buyers and merchants.
  • Enforcing, guaranteeing, or executing the performance of any sales contract between a buyer and a vendor.

Risk of Loss
All purchases of physical items made from sporahub.com are conducted pursuant to a separate shipment contract established between the individual vendor and their chosen logistics provider. This means that Sporahub.com is entirely absolved and relieved from any and all claims resulting from the risk of loss and transfer of title for any such physical items once they are transferred to the logistics provider. The responsibility for ensuring the safe delivery of the product rests with the vendor and the logistics partner.

Returns and Refunds Policy

Vendor Responsibility for Returns
On sporahub.com, individual vendors are solely responsible for fulfilling and shipping their own inventory. Accordingly, vendors make their own provisions to handle customer returns, which must be sent directly back to the respective vendor, not to sporahub.com.

Timeline for Refunds
Please be advised that the return process involves several steps and timelines:

  1. Item Transit Time: It can take up to 30 days for a returned item to reach the Vendor after you initiate the return shipment.
  2. Vendor Processing: Once the item is successfully received and verified by the Vendor, it typically takes approximately 4 business days for the refund to be processed by the Vendor.
  3. Bank Processing: Following vendor processing, it generally takes an additional 3–5 business days for the refund amount to be credited and show up in your financial account.

Sporahub.com does not accept returns of any products.

Vendor Return Policies: It is essential for customers to view the specific Return Policy of the vendor from whom they purchased an item. This policy is located in the Return and Refunds Policy section on the vendor’s profile page.

General Vendor Obligations: Vendors are strongly encouraged to respond to all customer return requests within a 48-hour period. All vendors must:

  • Provide a complete and accurate return address with every purchase and shipment.
  • Offer a full refund to the customer upon successful verification of the returned item.

Return Shipping Costs: Vendors may or may not refund costs incurred by the customer from the return shipment. This is at the vendor’s discretion and should be detailed in their individual policy.

Items Not Eligible for Pre-Paid Return
Certain items are not eligible for a pre-paid return label. In these instances, you will be responsible for returning the item at your own expense. We highly recommend using a trackable method with a carrier of your choice to ensure proof of delivery.

Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and logistical reasons, the following categories of items, once shipped to the customer, cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Perishable and grocery items
  • Live insects
  • Prepaid game cards
  • Some health and personal care products
  • Pet food and similar consumable products
  • Hazardous materials
  • Open software and electronic products (i.e., packaging seal broken)
  • Products missing their original UPC/serial numbers
  • Downloadable software products
  • Digital subscriptions that have already been accessed or used

Applicable Law
By utilizing sporahub.com, you explicitly agree that these Terms and Conditions, all associated policies, and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and sporahub.com will be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable Canadian federal law and Alberta provincial law, without regard to principles of conflict of laws. This choice of law dictates the legal framework for resolving any issues.
